watched Lady in the Water…sad about the reviews, it was a good story, well acted
Well, now that it is said and done, and I have my main machine running, here are links to the photos and videos of the trip, not much, but a few.
The new ones are labeled with a N2S prefix.

Path: Casper, WY to Colby, KS
Time: bout 7 hours again
iPod: Slower mix, Dresden Dolls, Regina Spektor, lots of radio scanning
Sleep: Another Motel 6
Really….more of the same, scenery changes a little, but after seven hours of driving, again, I just don’t care anymore.
Path: Yellowstone to Casper, WY
Time: 7 F’ing hours
iPod: More Nano mixes, cant remember
Sleep: Motel 6
God forsaken driving! Some of the land looks amazing, like driving through a painting, other times, the land should be covered in a rolling flame, decimating all in sight. We have gone through towns that are casting locations for the Hills have Eyes 3. We drove quickly. I have now seen all of the “old west” I ever want to.
I have shifted to a simple temp design to allow quick loading, will work on it when I am done traveling
Path: Spokane to Sheridan, Montana
Time: 5.5 hours
iPod Playlist: 70-80s mix, mostly Doors, Cure, Jethro Tull, Blues Traveler
Sleep: A Motel
A much longer and more painful trip after sleeping on a rocky ground. Even more endless barren wastelands, or maybe they were farms, who knows. Lost only once, but Google maps pulled through for us. We are quietly trying to make it through the night in a motel here in Sheridan, we must be careful as we are surrounded by Jeff Foxworthy one-liners. In 10 hours, send an air strike to this location.
Oh, no pictures, hard to take while driving, plus there is nothing to see here people, move on.

Path: Renton to Spokane
Time: 4.5 hours
iPod Playlist: 4 hours of Tom Waits
Sleep: Riverside Park in Spokane
The first day of the trip. 4 + hours of driving along windy roads with shrubbery as far as the eye could see. Camped the night at Riverside, in a tent, but that was the extent of “roughing it”. There was a full bathroom/shower, soda machines….very sad. I will have pictures and video up as soon as I get a better connection.
